tiny sauna inadequate changing facilities
My aromatherapy massage was good.
I was disappointed (to say the least). The sauna and steam room were tiny, no bigger than a large shower, and the steam room smelled of damp. There was no relaxation area or adequate changing facilities either.

a super stylish getaway!!!
modern room digital fireplace efficient service
I stayed in the house studio, and it felt so modern and clean. the digital fireplace was a nice touch. I really enjoyed it! i found the staff to be cute and helpful, which really made my check-in and check-out smooth. viktoria at the front office was very efficient!!!
the beds in the house section felt firm, to the point where it became a bit uncomfortable for me.

the food was fine and i completely loved it!!! the afternoon tea was also delicious, and the staff were very attentive and friendly to my needs.

The personal service was excellent, and the team seemed amazing. The manager simon even.!! varvara at reception was accommodating and made the check-in and out process easy.

A reasonably good experience
perfect location comfortable bed helpful staff faulty switch light bulb faulty toilet
The location was perfect for my needs. I was close to the train station and a nearby park (this made commuting simple). The room I had was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were generally cute and helpful.
The light switches in my room were faulty. I could not turn off some lights or turn others on. I had to take a light bulb out to turn one light off, inconvenient. The toilet also had some issues.

the staff moved us immediately when the adjacent room had loud guests (i appreciated this so much). the new year's eve party was fabulous. i felt cared for.

early car parking great price spacious room loud music late night children bedtime
I am grateful for the early car parking. I arrived before check-in and staff let me leave my car. I came back later. The room I stayed in was a junior suite, and I thought it was a great price. The spacious room was a good temperature.
There was a lot noise at the hotel. Another room had a party. The music was loud very late at night. It was hard to put children to bed.

Parking is available at the rear of the property on Abbey Street for £20 per night, on a first-come, first-served basis. If full, alternative parking can be found at Reading Train Station or The Oracle Shopping Centre. Remember to register your vehicle to avoid fines.
